look who's mad now

I tried to call my sister this week a few times to see what time they would pick Anna up for the weekend........I got no call back. They never called or came to pick Anna up. I called child support to see what happened in court on Monday with my case and I was told that there is another check that will be cut next week for &700.00! I am so happy....I just got the other check for $650.00 yesterday. This could not be happening at a better time because of all the problems with my car.

I would take a good guess and say that James was locked up this week and that is why they are mad.....I don't care! He needs to take care of Anna too. He is even trying to get Anna on his side. She told me last week that I should drop the child support order on him so he can get his license. He has NEVER had a license. This is why it is sooo hard to get him to pay....he can live with nothing and it will not bother him.

I will know more about this new payment in the middle of the week. Things are starting to look up for me a little bit. I just hope my car will make it to the gym and back today:)

Good for you!! Another step in the right direction. Hope Anna ( love that name!) will see soon that her dad is playing her. You said she is a smart girl, so I am sure it will all work out.

Best of luck with all of this. Nothing is worse than having a child having to deal with this, but it sounds like Anna is a smart cookie...

Anna is going through the "weekend father" thing right now....he is the greatest because he does not yell at her. She also get whatever she wants with him. He can not tell her "NO".

Shannin~
thanks....Anna is stong enough to get through this

I'm so happy things are looking up for you!

And someone needs to tell 'dad' that it isn't fair or nice or helpful to use children as their means to an end...grrrr...

Hi ... here via Michele. What you describe is what I call "Uncle Daddy Syndrome". Isn't it nice that they get to be the good guy all the time?

The good news is that as kids get older, they "get it" and know who their real parent was.

It's a shame when a parent has to use their kid in a fight between the adults, it's easy for him to be the good guy cause he doesn't have to deal with her problems, he just sends her back to you. If from your stories I didn't realize what a creep he is, that shows me.

I'd like to add your link on my page, but I need your url address or you can go to where my links are and there's a spot you can click on and just add it yourself.

Have a great weekend.
