gym craziness

I got a call from my best friend last night after she went to the gym. She said that on Saturday during our favorite class there was a fight. We both skipped class on Saturday and now I am glad that I did. She told me that one person stepped on another persons foot and the fight was on....I just think that the whole thing is just crazy! The class is popular and yes it gets crowded (thats why I stay in the front row). I was going to take Anna to class with me on Saturday and I think I still will. She will enjoy herself. I will not have stupid people who will not have a gym membership by the time summer rolls around ruin my day or my daughters day. I think that people take the whole "New Years Resolution" way out of hand. When I went to the gym on Monday (and this happens every year at this time) I get some of the dirtiest looks from people walking around the gym...I feel like I am being judged on my fitness level by people who "do not belong" I always say it and I will again...I hate this time of year. I wanted to run outside but its so nasty and rainy out today. I guess I will work on the abs and do my weights at home today. I am kinda glad that I am stopping my gym membership. The teacher of my clubbin' cardio class is going to offer me a special deal to just attend his for me!

I am right there with you. The gym is crowded, and everyone seems to be in a bad mood. I can't wait until March. It all clears up by Spring Break it seems like.

I hate the January gym rush. These people are so judgemental and then March rolls around and where are they? GONE...back to sitting around doing nothing!

I too hate the gym in January (but the pool is okay, for few people decide to swim laps for their New Years resolve).. . You gym sounds more exciting, however. A fight?
