this is my opinion

As you all know today is 9/11. A day that we will all remember in our own way. As I was reading other blogs I realized that I am sick of the racial divide that Katrina has turned into.

We all came together during the tragedy of 9/11. I remember where I was and what I was doing and the first person who told me about the plane hitting the world trade center. It was a very sad day and so hard to believe...even today I am still in shock. I did not know anyone who was hurt but we are all affected by this. My brother is in Iraq and my youngest brother is trying to go over there. I have many friends who are there and it does worry me but I do have faith in our President....I did vote for him and I know he is doing his best and I do believe that he is doing his best now with Katrina. I know people will disagree with me but this is how I feel.

We showed the world how we could all come together during 9/11 and now we are showing the world how far apart we are with Katrina instead of all coming together to show that we can overcome MOTHER NATURE we are showing the world how NOT TO ACT!

We can all do better than this.....lets show the world that we are able to help one another....black, white, green, blue, and purple. This could have happened to anyone of us......we never know what tomorrow may bring. I also believe that one good turn deserves another and everything happens for a reason. God does not dish out things that he does not think you can handle.

I am sure that not everyone will agree with me but this is my blog and this is how I feel so please respect that like I respect you.

That's a sad fact all over the world. Instead of people uniting for the welfare of all they keep on bickering instead of lending hand they point accusing finger. When will the people of the world will ever learn that despite our diversity unity is the key for our survival and progress. To the victims and families of 9/11 and the more recent catastrophe Katrina I offer my sincere sympathies and prayers.
