night out on the town

We went out last night and we had a pretty good time. We made a stop at on "the block" to visit some people that we knew when we were dancing and it is amazing how some of these girls danced a few years before me and it has been almost 6 years since I stopped dancing and they are still down there stripping and I am sure that they will still be there in another 5 years. It's hard to let go of the easy money (it's not as "easy" as people would think). The strippers put up with a lot of shit to get that money..they may not want to admit it but it's true! Why do you think that most of those girls get high or drink to much...they can't handle it sober.

Anyways, it was pretty cool to catch up on all the gossip, and trust me there was lots of gossip. After we had all the free drink at the strip clubs we went to a near by dance club and that was a bad choice....it was just a bunch of young boys who need to get laid and can't dance like a normal person they were all acting like dogs in heat. Normally we may run into a few guys like that but last night was REALLY bad for that.

We cut the night short and I was back home by 12:30 after I said some "not so nice" things to the 7-11 guy for selling me two scratch off tickets that were losers.

Greg was up when I got home and we "played" until 3am and then I went to bed for a few hours and got up for work at 6am with a major hangover.

How was your weekend?!?!

I went out last night, but luckily I did not wake up with a hangover. My husband and I ended up taking the little one to the zoo, and I'm sure you know that entertaining a 4 year old with a hangover is NOT fun.

i remember the "old days" of going to clubs and all that, the absolute worst is the little boys in there who think they are all that, and wont leave you alone! of course, they were usually good for a free drink or two. heheh. it is one of the nice bits about being married, i dont have to tolerate those guys anymore.

Dena (above) sent me over. I was out with her on Saturday night, but did not join her at the zoo. I laid on the couch all day, while hubby had the kids.

I read all of your "James" posts. Pretty rough! I think many of us have come across a "James" - although not to your extent. Kuddos to you for posting all the details!

It was a pretty nice weekend. I guess it is like that old saying..."it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

dena~
I think I may have done that before when I was too dumb to know any better ;)

I agree but I still love going out to dance with my friends (minus the loser guys)

the girls dance for different reasons...some dance to support a child or children, some for drug habits, some to get money for school.
