I need your help
"I QUIT!!" No, not my "real" job....I am not going to sell Avon anymore. I am done with it. I will help the lady who got me started and she will give me 20% of what ever I can sell for her and thats good enough for me.
I will be pretty busy tomorrow but Sunday should be pretty calm. Greg and I bought our wedding bands last night but I have a very important question....my engagement ring is half a size to small for my finger but the band is perfect so...where does the band go? Which ring goes on first? Is it ok to put the band on second...or should the band go on first so it is "closer to my heart?" I have heard mixed things about this...HELP!

I didn't even know that people still sold Avon!
And although I've been married three times, I've never been engaged so I can't help you there...
Here via Michele!
my wedding band is on first and then my engagement ring. is that what you were asking?
michele sent me.

Yes, Avon is still around....they have some really good products.
chatty~
yes, that is what I am asking. Thanks
dawn - do whatever is most comfortable for you!!!!!!
or split them up - put one on each hand...
they are your your rings and your hands... no one else is the boss of them!
I don't know much about this; surely a woman is engaged first, so that would go on first, followed by the wedding ring that is added on the ceremony. Just my opinion.
Michele sent me here.
Well I think traditionally the wedding band goes on first then the engagement ring but Jean-Luc's way sounds more logical. I have been married twice and I wear it the traditional way but I agree that you should do what's most comfortable, the RING POLICE won't come and get you I promise! :)
They say the band goes on first, but being the engagement ring is the one with the "rock" (and you get it first, so it only makes sense) I put that on first and the plain band to hold it there!
The wedding band goes first, it's the closest to your heart.
re: wedding rings. you take off your engagement ring prior to the ceremony. The wedding band goes on and the engagement ring goes on top of it...so sayeth Dear Abby.
weddingband first, engagement on top. At least that is what I did.
